Bhutan Payments Developer Docs
Welcome to the Bhutan Payments API documentation. Use these guides to accept one-time payments, set up recurring subscriptions, and receive real-time event notifications via webhooks.
What you can do
-
Payment API — Accept one-time payments through a hosted checkout experience. Customers are redirected to a secure checkout page and back to your site after payment.
-
Recurring Payments API — Create and manage subscription billing. Customers save a payment method once, and Bhutan Payments automatically charges them on the schedule you define.
-
Webhooks — Receive real-time HTTP notifications when payments succeed, fail, get disputed, or when subscriptions change state.

All API requests require an API key in the X-API-Key header. Generate keys from the Bhutan Payments dashboard under Settings → API Keys.
